Housewarming Recipe!

I have to start by saying thank you so much Ashley for hosting me on your blog and sharing all of your wonderful readers with me! I just can't believe the response...we've had over 1,000 enteries in my giveaway and I'm just thrilled. Very anxious to find out who the winner will be...BTW, I read all of your responses and read all of those blog posts you wrote...you are all too sweet! Thank you! And more than anything welcome to my blog. If you were all here in my home I would make you some incredibly delicious cinnamon rolls, but since you're not I will share the recipe with you.
I got this recipe from my sister-in-law Betsy and it's simply delightful and simple. It's a 30 minute recipe (or if you're slow like me it will take you an hour). Still not bad for rolls though, right?

30 Minute Rolls:

Mix together and let rise for 5 minutes until bubbly:

  • 3 1/2 cups warm water
  • 6 TBSP instant yeast
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3/4 cups sugar

ADD:

  • 1 TBSP salt
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • approx. 8-10 cups flour

Mix well and roll out. Form into crescent rolls and let rise for 15 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes until the inside is cooked.

You can also use this dough as pizza dough, bread dough, cinnamon rolls, or orange rolls. So many options and so easy to do! It makes a lot...we did 3 dozen large cinnamon rolls!

Thanks for stopping by and come again!

Melda made these last week and text me a picture of them. I sent her a text back asking her when she was going to drop them off. I just assumed that she made them for me. Her response, "I'm in my jammies and not going anywhere" well how rude to send someone a picture and not share. She said it was all Tiffany's fault because you posted the recipe on your blog and she just had to make them. Well I'm still waiting for my cinnamon rolls. Not suprising I know. I may have to make some today!
