This bag has two cozy straps and is encircled with elastic for security and cuteness! BUT the catch is that this darling handbag can also transfer into a clutch bag for a fancy evening out. Simply tuck in the straps and VOILA! And if you're a mother worried about room, never fear. Quilting...Oh My!

This is a project that I recently finished. It included six placemats and a very long table runner. It was my first true quilting experience...I just did it on my own machine at home...sewwww simple. However, I am not the proud owner of this pattern. I bummed it off Amy at the Quilt Shoppe, inc. (www.thequiltshopperigby.com) . Isn't it just adorable?
Anyway, next time you're looking to quilt something, just run it through your machine. It doesn't look as amazing, but it's still cute and you have the satisfaction of knowing that you did it yourself.

Love what you're doing!

So my advice tip for today is love the project you're doing and do it for you. Lately, I've become so consumed in doing things for other people, and suddenly they're looking great or their homes are looking great and I'm just tired and depressed because I could have some wonderful things, but I don't because I sold them all.
I've learned that the money I'm getting is so temporary, therefore making it short-term gratification. So make something for yourself! A bag, a wall-quilt, pillow, skirt, whatever, just do something for yourself!
