Stir Crazy.

Do you ever feel like you're going crazy? Like everything is moving in slow motion and you're just dying to get to the place you've been working so hard to get and it's just not happening? Well, that's me. I have somewhere important to be in 19 days and it's driving me crazy! However, I am getting things done that I never thought possible! Remember this post? Well, I just finished up the quilt banner that I made for my booth and I think I was trembling the whole time I cut out the appliques. We (my machine and I) made it through though and my household is a little more relieved.

Just a few more projects to finish and lots of booth planning to do and we will be on our way! Stay tuned because I have four new patterns to released really really soon (and you know that's the truth!). And one of them I think is my absolute favorite bag ever...I think...maybe.

Happy Sewing!

Under the Weather

So that 24-hour thing that's been going around, finally struck our home. It was Jason first, who somehow managed to work all the way through it and survive. Then late Saturday night it hit me hard. I have not been that sick in a long time and amongst it all I somehow managed to pull a muscle in my neck...grrr. Jason was such a good sport though. He kept me stocked with 7up, took the boys to church all by himself (where Sawyer threw up on him) and he kept the boys entertained all afternoon outside. And my mom was so sweet to play my texting buddy all day...love that lady!
As for today, my neck still hurts and my ribs are a little achy, but much better than yesterday. I've spent the morning laying in bed with Sawyer jumping around me. Lots of fun!

P.S. Sorry about the last post. I had found a great deal and then realized they had sold out. Sorry.

And we're off...

to 60 acres of peace and quiet...
where you can shoot a gun in your own back yard...
where work seems a lot more like play...and little boys can skip rocks...
where we always have home cooked meals to eat, hand-sewn quilts to sleep under, and Grandpa's wheelchair as part of our bedtime routine.
A place where our dog can run free...
where there's no time to pose for mom... A place we call Grandma and Grandpas!

Strange things are happening.

I'm not sure what goes on around your house, but here, my boys are filled with craziness. This little turkey has been wearing a rubberband around his head for two days. I can't get him to take it off.
And this little guy...well I think the picture says it all. Can you find what's missing?
These things are normal right? You deal with this at home too?
