Sometimes...

...life just requires you to take a breather. I made a new goal, I'm going to work really hard at playing with my kids (a.k.a. family time) rather than watching them play. Last weekend we camped in the backyard as a family (suffering from sinuses now) and then this week we visited Grandmas and jumped on trampolines. Hi Grandmas and all our wonderful cousins! Next week: Toy Story 3! If you have any fun family time ideas please let me know...I love new ideas!

Trampolines are fun and you look like you are having a blast!

Enjoy your summer with your Little Ones! I am going to do the same. I am a little sad because mine is going to turn 4 in a couple of weeks. Oh...where has time gone?

Take care,
Stefanie

Last time I jumped on a trampoline I peed my pants. That is what happens after 5 kids. So I am a little jealous!

I am so glad you came, even though I treated you to the world's worst meal. Can't wait to play some more next month.

My kids don't care what we do together -- they just love when I come out to play with them. (Not often enough!) Tracing each other with sidewalk chalk is fun. Or playing catch or anything. Happy playing!

What a cute picture of you!
I know what you mean...I sometimes wonder if I play enough with my girls, I sure don't want to look back and wish I had played more with them...
Ugh...I swear us moms are so hard on ourselves! lol

Cute picture! It sounds like you guys are having a lot of fun! Have fun going to see Toy Story 3! I would like to take Simon to the theater to see it, but more than likely, we'll wait for the DVD.
I worry about the same thing. I keep telling Jason that I need to cut back on my work hours and chores more so that I have more time to just sit and play with the boys.
We actually camped out in our living room a few weeks ago when the power went out (too hot outside for me), and Simon absolutely loved it and keeps asking to camp out again. We try to go to our county parks once a week to play at the playground, play with rocket balloons (they sell them at Target, and the boys crack up over watching them), and have a cook-out. Also, one of parks has free summer concerts on Saturdays that we try to go to a few times over the summer.

You are awesome! I think that is a great goal. I think it's a great idea. Sometimes I am so exhausted from work, but it's not an excuse. It's one of the reasons that I forked over the money for Nashville that I should have used on stuff for the new house, but I need to make memories-furniture comes in time.
Love the picture of you! You look so carefree!
