Oh my, pardon my giggles! I am a bit vertically challenged myself and have trouble reaching into the bottom of my washing machine, but I never thought to put tongs nearby to use for such occasions! What a clever idea! I use them all the time in the kitchen to reach things that are too high!
Just don't get the LG front loader you have to drain it (little door in front lower left corner) or it stinks to high heavens - too much work for a washing machine : ) oh, Troy says you can have ours!
I have two issues with front loaders. Like Carlin said they smell and you hav to leave the door open. Second kids can climb in and the other kid can turn on the machine. This happened and it was heart wrenching. So top loaders are safer-and we will just have to get you more tongs! Just also read your recent post about boutique night. So happy for you!!!! You are so super talented!!!
You'll need to put a long string on the end of your tongs and attach the other end to the side of your washer so that you can pull on the string if you lose them in the washer again. :) That washer and dryer do look pretty though! I love our front loader (no issues with smell or having to leave the door open).

Haha! Lost em in there? I just got a front loader and I love it! Of course that may be because it doesn't leak all over the floor!

... oh how I love these too! Front loaders & in Red, they are on my wish list too!
